Well, agency (especially moral agency) and free will are two large aspects of Abrahamic religions, but there is a really interesting neurological argument against free will as well.

Yes, I’ve seen that as well!! That’s what the essay we were discussing was about. It was really interesting, but I wasn’t entirely sure why it had to be so black and white that we either have free will or don’t.

The problem I had with the class discussion was that literally everyone in my class was using their religious faith as a backing to their argument so I was just sorta like “guh…”

Like I think it’s great that they’re religious but idk it’s just kindof a piss poor way too back up a statement.
